Clubs will take place on Monday or Tuesday afternoons from 3pm - 4pm.

They will run for specific year groups, in 4-week blocks, as indicated in the table above.

If there is high demand for a specific club, places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note that you will have to complete a new Form for each of your children.

Registration for clubs in Term 1A and 1B will be via this Microsoft Forms link,

which will open at 12:30 pm on Friday, 12th September.

Please enter details carefully, as this will affect which clubs are on offer to your child.

Registration for clubs in Term 2 will happen at a later date.

Braniel are through to the next round of the Victor Sinclair Cup after a dramatic penalty-shootout victory at Ulidia. 

Braniel fielded two teams and competed against other local schools Forge IPS, Knockbreda PS and Holy Rosary PS.

Both teams performed brilliantly and were a credit to the school. Braniel Reds were narrowly beaten in the semi final on penalties whilst Braniel Blues went on to win the tournament with a 1-0 victory in the final having not conceded a single goal in 7 games!

A fantastic way to end the school football season. Having won the EDCO Cup in May, Braniel now have another trophy to treasure.

We'd like to extend our gratitude to Leadhill PS for organising such a wonderful day of football.

Mr King

Having strolled through the group stages, they were surprised and a little unlucky to find themselves a goal down. They had to dig deep and came up with a great equalizer to take it to dreaded penalties. Unfortunately, they were beaten by the eventual winners, Harding Memorial. The girls then picked themselves off the floor to play their best football of the day in the 3rd/4th place play off.

The Wild West came alive on stage, thanks to the incredible talents of our students and dedicated staff. A big thank you must go to Year 7 teachers, Mrs Rennie and Mr Poole!

From sold out shows to standing ovations, "Yee Ha" lassoed the hearts of our wonderful audiences. It's a testament to the hard work and creativity of everyone involved.

Well done from all at Team Braniel.

Braniel had to dig deep and withstand lots of pressure from a strong Holy Cross side particularly dangerous from corners and long-throws.

The match finished 0-0 and the sides could not be separated. Our goalkeeper, Oliver, proved the hero in the shoot-out…making two penalty saves and stepping up to successfully convert a penalty himself!!

What a day to be associated with Braniel PS. The commitment and desire to win from all 12 boys was immense. A credit to our school and to their families.

P.S. How many dummies can you spot in the pictures? 

The weather was kind as we walked down the Connswater Community Greenway to CS Lewis Square and onto the Titanic Museum.

The children enjoyed getting their photos taken beside the Nomadic, eating their lunch in the footprint of the Titanic and especially getting the bus home!

Hopefully they are all inspired to complete their Titanic projects!

A huge thank you must go out to Mrs Livingstone, Mr Poole and our amazing school council for their dedication and hard work in organising a bun sale and a "Guess the Red Noses in a Jar" competition. 

Through the generosity of our school community, we have been able to make a significant contribution towards supporting worthy causes. This achievement is a testament to the spirit of kindness and teamwork that thrives within our school. Well done to all involved!

Having trailed 2 nil, then 4-2, then 5-4 - our brilliant girls, inspired no doubt by this week's  Assembly on perseverance, came back to win 5-6 in the final minutes.

Goals today from Brooke (2), Scarlett (2), Ellie (1) and Abbie (1) but credit goes to all of the girls who battled so hard and to Evie and Melissa who made some great saves too!

Thanks to Elmgrove for a great game, played in the right spirit throughout.

What a day to be alive! 

Despite being drawn in a difficult group, they managed to battle their way to an outstanding first place finish. With 2 Wins, 3 Draws and 0 Losses and, remarkably, zero goals conceded confidence was high. Unfortunately the semi-finals proved a step too far, when we were narrowly beaten 1 nil by a strong Hollywood team.

Huge credit to all the boys for their accomplished performances and, as always, their impeccable manners and sportsmanship!

We had a great day, despite the cold, and thank everyone at Ashfield for running such a great tournament.

They were both awarded Class of the Week for their absolutely fantastic performance of 'Pirates of the Currybean'. 

You were all amazing!
